Vadis secures funding for his play while dealing with another Flesh Golem abducting a sailor in the dead of night.
The party learns the Wizard Duel has been delayed indefinitely due to a magic powder doping scandal. Vadis pitches his script (a 'The Greatest Showman' rip-off) to a local theater manager, securing a trial run if he can gather a 'freak show' cast. Fari commissions splint armor and buys mutated acid from the blacksmith and alchemist. That night, Vadis hears a scream and investigates the sewers, finding another Flesh Golem dragging Inertia, a pink Tiefling sailor, away. Vadis engages it alone, dealing massive burst damage but is knocked unconscious by its multiattacks. Inertia revives him with a potion and covers their escape with Fog Cloud.
Vadis dealt over 60 damage in one turn using his Echo Knight burst, but the Golem's multiattacks brought him down because he fought a boss monster alone.
